     Alisson Natanael Oliveira Silva (Sponsored)
    May 10, 2010

Alisson arrived at the Nepo Children’s Home in February 2023. His mother passed away when he was 6 and Alisson lived with his grandmother until he became a teenager and she could no longer care for him. When Alisson shows interest in something, he tends to dedicate himself to it. Alisson is always willing to help with everything and enjoys the working on the farm. He is a very talkative and expressive, but Alisson is also needy and emotional. We see in him the need to have a person or family that he can have as a life reference. (Updated January 2026)

He returned to live with his parents when he was almost 10, but then returned to the home after they started using drugs again. Alisson and his brothers lived at the home for several more years before returning once again to their parents in 2023. In 2024-2025, Alisson was in and out of a rehab clinic for drug addiction and ended up living on the streets.      Carlos Eduardo (Sponsored)
    September 05, 2018

Carlos is 7 years old and has lived with the Adonai Family for almost a year. Carlos has a very high level of ADHD, causing difficulties for all the caregivers since he doesn't focus on almost anything due to difficulty concentrating. Carlos is very talkative, communicative, and has answers and arguments for everything. On the other hand, he is a very affectionate and polite boy, winning over everyone around him with a unique and innocent character that makes him very loved by all. Before arriving here, Carlos lived most of his time on the street and had no routine, but he still talks about his family and misses them, however, there is very little chance of him returning to his family. Lucas Raphael da Silva Santos
    March 23, 2026
Lucas Raphael da Silva Santos, born on March 23, 2026, came to the home straight from the hospital on March 26. We were expecting him on the 25th, however, due to a urinary tract infection suffered by his mother, Lucas remained under observation for one additional night. Lucas is a healthy, alert baby. He weighed 3.525 kg and measured 51 cm at birth. Records from child services indicate that the newborn's biological mother was engaged in continuous and abusive use of psychoactive substances throughout her pregnancy—even while under the supervision of social assistance technical teams in Nepomuceno. This circumstance posed a risk to both her physical well-being and that of the unborn child, ultimately necessitating her involuntary commitment to a rehab clinic. According to information from the Public Prosecutor's Office, the mother remains in treatment at the Estrela da Manhã Rehabilitation Center in the town of São Gonçalo do Pará, MG, with no anticipated date for discharge. For now, Lucas will remain at the home while child services conducts the social study regarding the extended family.(Updated April 2026)

    December 26, 2010

Pedro is 15 years old and has been living with the Adonai Family for less than a year. He is a quiet, intelligent boy, and does well in school. Pedro likes to talk about random topics; we usually say he is the philosopher of Adonai. But on the other hand, Pedro has difficulty helping with daily tasks because he doesn't like work that requires physical effort. Pedro’s dream is to visit the United States, and he talks about it all the time. We are working on the possibility of Pedro returning to live with his aunt. (Updated January 2026)

He dreams of the day he can return to live with his mother which is not very likely as the judge recently removed his mother’s visiting rights. Ytalo’s mother suffers from very high levels of depression and asked us for help, and we are doing everything we can to help her.
